Gay Vicars on Channel 4 – a Personal Response Pt 3
In her third article in response to the Gay Vicars Programme, Dr Lisa Severine Nolland seeks to demonstrate that as a society validates and legitimates gay marriage, it is unable to contend against the validation and legitimization of these other sexual relationships in so far as they do not abuse the personal autonomy of another. Though gay marriage advocacy strategically distances itself from the realms of the non-gay sexual minorities (such as polygamists), these newcomers refuse to be so readily dismissed. They have taken note of successful gay tactics and have applied them to advance their own cause.
