Church of Nigeria elects 20 Bishops

The Episcopal Synod of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), which was held in St. Mary’s Pro-Cathedral Uruagu,-Nnewi, Anambra state, on Friday, March 28, 2008, elected the Venerable Alloysius Agbo to the See of Nsukka, that will be vacant in June and translated the Rt. Revd Gabriel Akinbiyi, Bishop of Offa Diocese, to the See of Akoko. Also the following Clergymen were elected to 18 newly created Missionary Dioceses. They are:
