Research versus Political Correctness

NARTH held its annual conference this weekend in West Palm Beach, FL. NARTH is an acronym for the National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality. Their detractors would have you believe NARTH employs henchmen to drag unsuspecting gays into a dark room where they are chained until they claim to be straight. Nothing could be farther from the truth.
Everything I saw and heard at this conference confirms their statement. I would even underscore it by stating they went out of their way to remind the attendees that it is everyone’s responsibility to treat all individuals with dignity and respect without regard to their opinion on this or any other subject.
