Geneva to fund Hamas museum

Former Geneva mayor and head of culture in the Geneva municipality Patrice Mugny said during a meeting in Gaza yesterday with Hamas government culture minister Osama Al-'Isawi that Geneva canton intends to fund the construction of a museum in Gaza for the Hamas government, as well as a bookmobile program.

The museum is to focus on Palestinian heritage and archeology.

Hamas prime minister Isma'il Haniya met yesterday with a delegation of American and British parsons; he said that such visits showed that the American and European conscience opposed the siege.
