PRAYER: Lord, save us from the temptations and distractions of this world. Come, protect us from all dangers and lead us to salvation, for you live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.”
Activity – On St. Barbara’s Day, you and your family can celebrate the feast of Saint Barbara with a crown cake to signify the crown of martyrdom and the crown of glory. If you are pressed for time, a gold-paper crown on a cake or a gumdrop crown is acceptable.
