Communication from the Primate of all Nigeria on the massacre last night
It is very pertinent to bring to your notice that information has reached the Office of the Primate about the planned attack by moslems to use the cover of the night and kill Christians in Kaduna and the Northern States.
This is not rumour. A moslem close to a Christian told him they were told in the mosque to do it.
Only today between 1 and 3am in the morning another set of Fulani moslems launched a fresh attack on the villagers of Byei, about 4km to Riyom, Plateau State killing 12 people including a pregnant woman and children.
I am to strongly advise that this new threat should not be taken lightly. While the Church will not relent to pray to God to remove the sword and violence against His Church.
Your lordships are requested to alert members of their congregation and laity about this development. Indeed, Christians must watch and pray.
