Relief work in Chile

Archbishop Colin Bazley, the former Primate of the Southern Cone, has sent us photographs taken by his granddaughter who went with the team to the village of Putú where the adobe-brick houses collapsed. Three busloads of young people went from the Anglican churches in Santiago and were involved in helping clear away all the rubble and also had a children's programme enabling their parents to get on with the clearing-up process.

This relief work has been supported by donations ( now totalling £9000) to AID through the AM website – see sidebar.
